DESCRIPTION
If you find yourself in the Bouzanquet sector, keep your eyes peeled!
Watch the treetops carefully, and you might observe a bald eagle’s nest. The nest measures approximately 1.5m in diameter!

DID YOU KNOW…?
The bald eagle is easily recognizable by its distinct coloration. The black plumage of the bald eagle’s body contrasts with its white tail feathers, and white head. On the other hand, juvenile bald eagles have brown plumage. A juvenile bald eagle greatly resembles the golden eagle. They are often mistaken for one another, but the golden eagles feet are feathered, while the juvenile bald eagle’s feet are bare.
The bald eagle is designated a vulnerable species by the Québec government.
